Why
it makes Patrick's Top 5…
The average age of membership
here is 53, which is young by Sarasota standards.
That's because this community attracts all types…the
retiree contingent for sure, but baby boomers
and young professionals as
well. This mix creates a nice atmosphere around
the course and clubhouse. Residents boast that
it is a great place to raise children. The roads
are well lit and wide and the property is totally
gated. The kids can safely ride their bikes up
to the club and the tennis courts. Golf on the
two 18-hole courses are limited to residents.
The clubhouse offers amenities, including 12
Har-Tru tennis courts, a pool with six lap lanes
and dive well, and a Jacuzzi.
Home Choices…
Laurel Oaks Estates surround the two courses.
As the name would suggest, these are large homes
on large lots. Three bedroom homes (2800 to 3000
square feet) generally run from $750,000 to $850,000.
The next level (3 to 4 bedrooms, 3600 to 4200
square feet) are priced from $1 million to $1.5
million. The five and six bedroom homes (4300
to 6800 square feet) generally range from $1.5
to $2.5 million.
